Bookings Provisional bookings will be accepted by e-mail, post, or telephone. All bookings are subject to receipt of a 25% non-refundable deposit and a confirmation receipt has been issued in writing. The balance of the accommodation must be paid to us at least eight weeks prior to arrival. For late bookings, ie. those made within 8 weeks prior to arrival, full payment will be required to confirm the reservation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all payments are cleared prior to their departure. All confirmations will be issued in writing. We reserve the right to decline a booking. A contract will come into force once we have accepted the booking and a confirmation receipt have been issued.
Payment Payment can be made by bankers’ draft, cheque, or cash transfers direct to our bank account. Bank details will be provided for bank transfers. All payments received and payments due for the villa will be set out in our confirmation letter. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all payments due are paid by the due date on the confirmation letter. Failure to pay by the due date may result in services booked being cancelled and the loss of any payments already received.
Accommodation The accommodation is for Villa 50 at Santo António Villas, Golf & Spa (formerly Parque da Floresta), Algarve. The Villa is available from 3.00pm on the day of your arrival and should be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure to allow for cleaning etc for the next guests. We will try to be flexible on timings if we can, but timings must be agreed before your departure to the villa. Arrival days they are usually Friday - Friday - we try to be as flexible as we can. Please ask us if you require a different day. Please remember the resort is also a residential area and we ask you to be considerate to our neighbours regarding noise and their privacy - no drones beyond our boundaries please.
Prices - All prices quoted are in pounds sterling. Changes to your booking - Any change to the booking details after receipt of confirmation is subject to availability. Cancellation Policy - All cancellations must be notified to us in writing by the person nominated on the initial booking confirmation. In the event of a cancellation, we would apply the following scale of cancellation charges to the rental cost: 60 plus days before check-in will get back 100% of the amount paid. 30 and 60 days before check-in 50% of the amount paid. 29 - 1 days no refund. * No refund will be made to clients vacating the property prior to the expiry of the reservation period Guest Feedback/Complaints - Full maintenance service is available from the Reception at the resort. If they are unable to correct the situation please call us. We will endeavor to do our best to rectify any problem at the villa, very often what might seem to be a serious problem can be resolved relatively easily once we are aware of the situation. No liability can be accepted where this procedure has not been followed, as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and solve the problem. We undertake to acknowledge the complaint upon receipt and to respond within 14 days unless extenuating circumstances prevail. If appropriate, should an offer of compensation be made, this will be set out in the correspondence. Breakages / Damages Deposit - While on holiday, all clients must behave with propriety and not cause damage, distress, danger or annoyance to other clients or their property. If you do not comply with these stated responsibilities, you will be liable for the cost of repairs or replacements. In order to cover such costs, you will be required to pay on arrival a £250 refundable breakages deposit. Cash, cheque, Paypal or bank transfer are acceptable. Any breakages or damages should be reported to Villa 50 as soon as they occur, so they can be rectified prior to the arrival of the next clients. Subject to the deduction (where appropriate) of any breakages or damages, deposits will be refunded after departure.
Liabilities - We cannot accept liability for circumstances arising out of our control, amounting to ‘force majeure’, including war or threat of war, industrial action, terrorist activities, riot, civil war, weather, earthquake, failure of electric, gas or water supply, noise, etc.
Holiday Insurance - We advise our guests to take out insurance for all the party members, covering cancellation charges and emergency assistance,
